Abstract
Objective:To explore the value of uterine and ovarian volume measurement combined with sex hormone estradiol(E2)level detection in children with different types of precocious puberty.Method:A total of 84 children with precocious puberty admitted to Jiangxi Province Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into central group(n=63)and peripheral group(n=21)according to the type of precocious puberty.The length diameter,transverse diameter,anteroposterior diameter and volume of uterus,the length diameter,transverse diameter and volume of ovary,and the levels of E2,luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)were compared between two groups.The diagnostic value of uterus and ovarian volume measurement combined with E2 detection in central precocious puberty were analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Result:The length and transverse diameter of uterus and ovary in the central group were longer than those in the peripheral group,and the volume of uterus and ovary were larger than those in the peripheral group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of E2,LH and FSH in central group were higher than those in peripheral group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the area under the curve(AUC)for the diagnosis of central precocious puberty by single detection and combined detection of uterine volume,ovarian volume and E2 level in the diagnosis of central precocious puberty were 0.781,0.725,0.832 and 0.901,respectively,and the AUC value of the three combined was higher than that of each single index.Conclusion:The measurement of uterine and ovarian volume combined with E2 level has high value in the diagnosis of central precocious puberty.关键词
