The Effects of Transcutaneous Electrical Acupoint Stimulation Combined with Ear Acupoint Pressure Beans on Insomnia,Negative Emotions,5-HT,DA and β-EP in Elderly Patients after Hip Joint Surgery

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation combined with ear acupoint pressure beans on insomnia,negative emotions,5-HT,DA,β-EP in elderly patients after hip joint surgery.Method:A total of 105 patients with hip joint surgery admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group,observation group 1 and observation group 2 according to the random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional postoperative treatment,the observation group 1 was treated with transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation,and the observation group 2 was treated with transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation combined with auricular point pressure beans.The sleep quality,negative emotions,serum 5-HT,DA,β-EP levels and visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the three groups were observed and compared.Result:On the first day before operation,there were no significant differences in sleep quality,negative emotions,5-HT,DA,β-EP levels and VAS scores among the three groups(P>0.05).On the 3rd and 6th day after operation,the sleep quality,negative emotions,5-HT,DA,β-EP levels and VAS scores of the three groups were improved,and further comparison showed that the indicators of the observation group 2 were better than those of the observation group 1 and the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation combined with auricular point pressure beans can improve postoperative insomnia and negative emotions in elderly patients with hip joint surgery,and increase the levels of 5-HT,DA and β-EP.关键词
