Abstract
Objective:To analyze the effect of continuous positive airway pressure on oxygen dynamics in children with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome.Method:A total of 80 children with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Shangrao Maternal and Child Health Hospital from September 2020 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,the children were divided into control group(n=40)and study group(n=40).The control group was treated with nasal high flow oxygen and the study group was treated with continuous positive airway pressure.The clinical efficacy,oxygen dynamics indexes and pH value,general indexes and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The ventilation time and hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group,the hospitalization expenses was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)and PaO2/fraction of inspired oxygen(FiO2)between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in pH value between the two groups before treatment and 6 and 24 h after treatment(P>0.05).After 6 and 24 h of treatment,PaO2 and PaO2/FiO2 in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and PaCO2 were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Continuous positive airway pressure has a good effect in the treatment of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome,can improve the oxygen dynamics index of children,accelerate the recovery of children,and has a high safety.关键词
