Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of dilation of the uterine orifice upon admission to the delivery room on delivery process and the rate of painless delivery.Method:Clinical data of 92 parturients admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the degree of uterine dilation at admission, the parturients were divided into observation group(6 cm≤uterine dilation<10 cm,n=38)and control group(2 cm≤uterine dilation<6 cm,n=54).Clinical data of all parturients were collected, including basic data[age, body mass index(BMI),gestational age, height, weight, etc.],painless delivery, mode of delivery, labor progression(first stage of labor, second stage of labor and third stage of labor time),and clinical intervention(including oxytocin, antibiotic use, artificial breaking of membranes).Result:The rate of painless delivery in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The natural delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the cesarean section rate was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The first stage of labor and total labor time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportion of patients with oxytocin, antibiotic use and artificial membrane rupture in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:When entering the delivery room, the dilation of the uterine opening of parturients is enlarged by 6 cm or more, which can reduce excessive medical intervention and painless delivery rate, shorten labor time and improve the natural delivery rate of parturients.关键词
