Stratigraphic division of geotechnical engineering survey standards in main urban area of Jining City,Shandong Province

Abstract
A large amount of geotechnical engineering investigation data has been accumulated of the main urban area of Jining City during various construction activities.However,the lack of a unified standard for geotechnical engineering investigation strata has limited the integration and sharing of these valuable data resources.This paper studies the data from 382 engineering geological boreholes conducted during the"Jining Urban Geological Survey"project and from 212 construction projects such as the"Jining Periphery Overpasses."A systematic review and classification are conducted of strata shallower than 60 meters.According to the age of deposition,genesis type and depositional environment,material composition and structural characteristics,and physical and mechanical properties,the strata shallower than 60 meters can be divided into 10 engineering geological layer groups.Based on stratigraphic age,genesis type,lithology,color,and physical and mechanical properties,they can be further subdivided into 24 standard main layers and 44 sub-layers for geotechnical engineering investigations.To facilitate promotion and use,this paper identifies 3 marker layers with widespread distribution and easy recognition:Layer ⑦ clay,Layer⑭ clay,and Layer ⑱ clay.关键词
