Preparation and performance analysis of Ti-NiCo2S4 photoelectric anodes

Abstract
Spinel-structured nickel-cobalt sulfide nanomaterial electrodes with adjustable sulfidation degree were synthesized through a controlled sulfidation process.The crystal structure,morphology and photocatalytic performance of the as-prepared electrodes were characterized and analyzed to verify the effect of sulfidation on the photocatalytic performance of the nanomaterials.The photocatalytic activity of the fabricated electrodes was evaluated using reactive brilliant blue as the target pollutant.The NiCo2S4-0.10 electrode prepared by hydrothermal sulfidation has high oxygen evolution potential,fast carrier transfer,low resistance and high photoresponse current,which enable the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of reactive brilliant blue of 60 mg/L to reach 91.61%(at current density of 90 mA/cm2)within 2 h.The degradation experiments are based on the main active substances including hydroxyl radicals,photogenerated holes and superoxide radicals.These results have important implication for the design and optimization of photocatalytic anodes of composite metal sulfides.关键词
