美国国家道路安全战略简析及启示
Analysis and inspiration of the National Roadway Safety Strategy of the United States
摘要
Abstract
As the standard of living in China continues to improve,the demand for travel among residents has been steadily increasing,resulting in a rise in road traffic crashes and fatalities.This trend highlights the critical importance of road traffic safety governance.Ensuring road traffic safety has emerged as a central priority in social management around the world.The National Roadway Safety Strategy released by the U.S.Department of Transportation in 2022 provides significant insights that can be relevant to China.This paper identifies existing challenges and underlying causes in China's road traffic safety management,and subsequently presents an overview of the principles and overarching strategies for developing a traffic safety system as outlined in the U.S.strategy.Furthermore,it analyzes the characteristics and the cores of the U.S.strategy and its associated documents.Finally,the paper proposes four specific measures tailored to China's national context.The findings of this research offer valuable implications for enhancing road traffic safety in China.关键词
