Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Chinese medicine on recurrent oral ulcer and its influence on inflammato-ry factors.Methods A total of 80 patients with recurrent oral ulcers from Zhaotong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Yunnan Province from March 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and they were divided into con-trol group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases).The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine treatment.The clinical efficacy,ulcer area,congestion area and visual analogue scale(VAS),the mean healing time of oral ulcer and the level of inflammatory factors were com-pared between the two groups.Results The total clinical efficacy of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The ulcer area,congestion area and VAS score of the two groups after treatment were lower than those of the same group before treatment,and the above indicators of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The average healing time of oral ulcer in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-8(IL-8)in two groups were lower than those of the same group before treatment,and the levels of interleukin-2(IL-2)were higher than those of the same group before treatment,and the levels of TNF-α and IL-8 in observation group were lower than those of control group,and the levels of IL-2 were higher than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion After the treatment of recurrent oral ulcer,the level of inflammatory factors decreased significantly,the area of ulcer was significantly reduced,the healing time was significantly shortened,and the pain sense of patients was effectively reduced.关键词
