Deformation Characteristics Analysis of Expansion Soil Channel Slope Before and After Reinforcement Based on Cluster Analysis

Abstract
The deformation of expanded earth canal slopes is characterized by seasonality,long-term and hysteresis.In order to investigate the deformation characteristics of expanded earth canal slopes before and after reinforcement,based on the deformation data and groundwater level data before and after the installation of drainage facilities on expanded earth canal slopes during the operation period of Taocha section of the South to North Water Diversion Project,the paper built a panel data of multiple indexes of the canal slopes and carried out a cluster anal-ysis,compared the clustering effects of the traditional clustering methods and simplified clustering methods,identified the changing rules of the internal displacements of canal slopes with time and space,and analyzed the impacts of the additional drainage facilities on the groundwa-ter level and deformation of the expanded earth canal slopes.The analysis results of typical measurement point examples show that the correla-tion between the groundwater level rise and the displacement change of the canal slope is strong.The effect of only adding shallow drainage fa-cilities to deal with the high groundwater level of the expansive soil canal slope is limited,and the deformation that has already occurred can-not be repaired.关键词
