Influence Mechanism and Effect of Digital Economy on Urban Industrial Structure Upgrading
摘要
Abstract
Based on the panel data of 278 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2011 to 2021,this paper con-structs an index system for digital economy development level and industrial intelligence level,and discusses the influence mecha-nism,threshold effect and spatial spillover effect of digital economy on the upgrading of urban industrial structure.The findings are shown as the following:Digital economy has a significant role in promoting the upgrading of urban industrial structure and the threshold effect of financial development;digital economy affects the upgrading of urban industrial structure through the transmis-sion mechanism of industrial intelligence;city grade and regional heterogeneity can be used to explain the differences in the im-pact of the digital economy on the upgrading of industrial structure,and the role of high-grade cities and the central and western regions in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure is significant,while that of low-grade cities and the eastern regions is not significant;digital economy has a positive spatial spillover effect on the industrial structure upgrading of neighboring cities.关键词
