摘要

Abstract

In response to the problems of poor verticality of lead cathodes,short service life of conductive rods,high contact resistance,and difficulty in cleaning impurities on the surface of conductive rods in the production of existing lead electrolysis cathode units,several technologies have been developed and applied based on theories such as elastic-plastic mechanics,bending forming,and resistance spot welding.These technologies include surface embossing with stiffness enhancement,efficient separation of cathode plates and conductive rods,chemical cleaning of conductive copper rods,and shredding of cathode sheets.They have been applied to a newly built 480000 ton/year project of a large lead smelting enterprise in China.Practice has shown that the overall equipment production capacity has significantly improved,with production time reduced from 15 seconds per piece to 11.5 seconds per piece,and the short circuit rate caused by cathode perpendicularity reduced to 0.43%.
