Effect of Strain Rate on the Mechanical Properties of TC4 Titanium Alloy
摘要
Abstract
Titanium alloys are widely used in aerospace,chemical,energy,and other fields due to their excellent comprehensive properties.This paper investigates the influence of microstructure on mechanical properties by observing the microstructure of original TC4 titanium alloy.It compares the stress-strain curves of TC4 titanium alloy deformed to 30%under different strain rates and examines the macroscopic and microscopic features of the compression fracture surfaces using SEM.The study shows that the compressive yield strength of TC4 titanium alloy is proportional to the compression rate,indicating good strain rate sensitivity.The deformation behavior of TC4 titanium alloy is ductile,with a reduction in the size and number of dimples as the compression rate increases,leading to a decrease in the material's plasticity.关键词
