Abstract
Objective To explore the role of Cefuroxime Sodium combined with Dexamethasone in the treatment of pregnant women with preterm premature rupture of membranes. Methods A total of 90 pregnant women with preterm premature rupture of membranes admitted to People's Hospital of Yizheng from January 2019 to January 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into the experimental group and reference group by touching bicolor method, with 45 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with Cefuroxime Sodium, and the experimental group was treated with Cefuroxime Sodium combined with Dexamethasone.Perinatal indicators, maternal outcomes, neonatal status, and neonatal outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results The gestational weeks of delivery in the experimental group was greater than that in the reference group(P<0.05).The perinatal hospitalization, cesarean section rate, and premature delivery rate in the experimental group were lower than those in the reference group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse maternal outcomes in the experimental group was lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).The Apgar scores of the newborns at 1,5,and 10 min postpartum in the experimental group were higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes in the experimental group was lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Cefuroxime Sodium and Dexamethasone in pregnant women with preterm premature rupture of membranes can improve delivery outcomes and neonatal births, and reduce the occurrence of adverse neonatal outcomes, which is worth promoting.关键词
