Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of caregiver centered empowerment education on the maintenance quality of peripherally inserted central venous catheter(PICC)in children with malignant hematological disease.Methods A total of 60 children with malignant hematological disease admitted to the Department of Hematology,Children's Hospital of Soochow University from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by envelope method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given traditional nursing in department of hematology,and the observation group was given caregiver centered empowerment education.The PICC maintenance quality was compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the PICC maintenance compliance score(replacement of joint,flushing of tube,replacement of film)and quality of life score of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Caregiver centered empowerment education can improve the quality of PICC maintenance in children with malignant hematological disease,which is worthy of promotion.关键词
