Survey and analysis of obstetricians and gynecologists'knowledge,attitude,and practice about oral health care for pregnant women in Huangpu District,Shanghai

Abstract
Objective To investigate the obstetricians and gynecologists'knowledge,attitude,and practice about oral health care for pregnant women in Huangpu District of Shanghai.Methods Obstetricians and gynecologists in public specialized medical institutions in Huangpu District were selected as the survey objects.From December 2020 to May 2021,the knowledge,attitude,and practice of obstetricians and gynecologists on oral health services for pregnant women was investigated through the questionnaire star electronic questionnaire.Results A total of 163 questionnaires were distributed in this survey,and 115 valid questionnaires were collected,with an effective recovery rate of 70.55％.53.91％of the respondents had never received training on oral health care for pregnant women,and 46.09％of the respondents were opposed to postponing the treatment of oral problems until postpartum.The correct response rates of using fluoride toothpaste and dental X-ray during pregnancy were 45.22％and 60.87％,respectively.The correct response rates of Metronidazole and Ibuprofen during pregnancy were 59.13％and 14.78％,respectively.The proportion of respondents who never recommend pregnant women to use fluoride toothpaste was 38.26％.Conclusion It is necessary to develop cross-disciplinary oral health care consensus and guidelines for pregnant women,and to strengthen the training of obstetricians and gynecologists on oral health care for pregnant women.关键词
