Research on Variable Condition Characteristics and Interaction Capability of Power-to-ammonia Unit in the Electricity-hydrogen Interaction Context

Abstract
The reversible technology of electric hydrogen can effectively utilize the existing hydrogen energy reserves to realize the mutual complementing of energy sources,which is an indispensable link in the emergency power supply.In this paper,power to ammonia unit is chosen as the research object,from the two dimensions of reaction balance movement and equipment operating condition fluctuation.The reversible application scenario of hydrogen source in the factory on the yield of power to ammonia unit,heat exchanger area and compressor power and other important technical indicators are studied.The results show that in terms of reaction equilibrium,when the reverse flow rate of hydrogen source increases to 5%,the ammonia yield in the reactor decreases to 95.99%and the nitrogen conversion rate decreases from 33.81%to 9.82%.The reaction equilibrium produces a certain degree of reverse movement.In terms of equipment conditions,hydrogen source fluctuation will change the syngas circulation flow in the process flow,and it is necessary to adopt targeted regulation on the equipment in the process flow to maintain the stability of production.Taking power to ammonia unit with an annual output of 75 000 tons as an example,the maximum hydrogen source diversion rate that can be borne is 5%,and the maximum power generation power of the unit can support the grid is 1 418.39 kW.If the coolant amount of the purification equipment can be increased as needed when the hydrogen source is divided,the unit can bear more hydrogen source flow.关键词
