Research on a Novel Stator Concentrated-flux Ferrite Permanent Magnetic Flux Switching Motor

Abstract
As a type of brushless motor,the flux switching motor has a double salient construction of stator and rotor.The rotor is laminated by silicon steel sheets,while the stator contains concentrated windings and permanent magnets.Thus,only one set of power-switching devices and diodes are needed to control the motor.In this paper,a ferrite permanent magnet single-phase flux switching motor structure is proposed,and its basic construction and working principle are analyzed.According to the design criteria of the motor,the geometric parameters are determined,and the segmented rotor is proposed to eliminate the starting dead zone of the motor.A comprehensive comparison with an electromagnetic single-phase flux switching motor of the same size is performed to verify the advantages of the proposed motor in static and transient performance.Finally,a prototype is fabricated and tested.关键词
