Research progress on the vaccine of orf
摘要
Abstract
Orf is a highly infectious zoonotic disease that affects goats,sheep,and humans.It is caused by the orf virus(ORFV).The disease is widespread in regions where sheep farming is practiced.It not only causes significant economic losses to the global sheep industry but also poses a substantial threat to the health of individuals involved in the sector.Hence,it remains as a potential threat to global public health.Vaccination is only an effective approach for preventing orf.Therefore,this review article was aimed to assess the research progress on traditional and new vaccines against orf.In con-clusion,our article could provide an insight in vaccine research and development against this disease.关键词
