Abstract

Taking an air pollution incident that occurred in Changchun city from April 19 to 21,2024 as the research object,the overview,causes,and potential sources of the pollution process are analyzed.The results indicate that there are two pollution peaks during the study period.Considering the low concentrations of NO2 and SO2,this pollution process is caused by biomass burning,and unfavorable meteorological conditions also contribute to the pollution process.After 48 h of backward trajectory clustering analysis,4 air mass trajectories are obtained.The air masses from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Baicheng city,Songyuan city,and Jilin city have the greatest impact on Changchun city,with over 90%of these trajectories exceeding the limit of inhalable particulate matter(PM10).The analysis of potential pollution sources shows that they are mainly concentrated in Changchun city,Jilin city,and Siping city,which are the main contributors to this pollution incident.
