Abstract
Objective To analyze the pharmaceutical care needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases based on Kano model.Methods Kano model and Delphi method were used to design a questionnaire on pharmaceutical care needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases.176 elderly patients with chronic diseases treated in Zhenjiang First People's Hospital from March 2022 to February 2024 were selected as research objects by convenience sampling method,and the attributes of pharmaceutical care needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases were determined by Kano model.Results Guidance on rational drug use,channels of drug purchase,introduction of usage and dosage and precautions,introduction of adverse drug reactions and treatment,introduction of dietary contraindications during medication,and storage methods of drugs were the essential attributes of pharmaceutical care for elderly patients with chronic diseases(M),accounting for 50.00%(6/12).The first item recommended to buy economical and safe drugs is the attractive demand attribute of elderly chronic disease patients for pharmaceutical care(A),accounting for 8.33%(1/12).The five expected demand attributes(O)of elderly patients with chronic diseases,including establishment of personal medication history,medication consultation service,introduction of disease knowledge and exercise methods,telephone medication consultation and rational drug use knowledge lecture,accounted for 41.67%(5/12).The correlation results showed that rational drug use knowledge lecture(r=0.808),establishment of personal drug history(r=0.795),telephone consultation on drug use(r=0.781),introduction of disease knowledge and exercise methods(r=0.777),drug use consultation service(r=0.736)were the five needs that were highly correlated with the pharmaceutical care needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases.Conclusion Pharmaceutical care needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases are mainly focused on five needs:rational drug use knowledge lectures,establishment of personal drug history,telephone consultation on drug use,introduction of disease knowledge and exercise methods,and drug use consultation service.Kano model can be used to analyze the pharmaceutical care needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases and determine the attributes of each need,which not only helps hospitals prioritize the implementation of improvement strategies.At the same time,it also helps patients control medical costs and reduce the economic burden of patients.关键词
