Abstract
Street tree is an important part of the urban landscape system,which has rich ecological,environmental,and aesthetic values.Traditional street tree survey is carried out by inefficient manual field investigation.This paper introduced the application of vehicle-mounted laser point clouds in the extraction of geometric attributes of urban street tree survey and obtained the geometric information of the street trees through the steps of vehicle-mounted laser point cloud denoising,ground point filtering,point cloud normalization,single wood segmentation,and geometric attribute information extraction.Experiments show that by using vehicle-mounted laser point clouds to extract the geometric information of the street trees,the extraction accuracy of single wood diameter at breast height(DBH)reaches the centimeter level;the extraction accuracy of horizontal coordinate,vertical coordinate,tree height,crown width,and other geometric information reaches the decimeter level,and the coverage area accuracy reaches the meter level,which fully demonstrates the effectiveness of this method and greatly improves the efficiency of street tree survey.关键词
