Abstract
Windproof net is an effective means of dust suppression.As a porous barrier,the structure of windproof net allows a low wind velocity zone on its back,which decreases dust movement,and has a good restraining effect on dust generation and diffusion in bulk cargo ports.The above dust prevention effect has been generally recognized.Based on the layout plan of windproof dust suppression net of Yangpu Port Phase Ⅲ bulk cargo terminal,a physical model test was conducted in order to study the characteristics of wind velocity reduction as well as the effect of wind velocity reduction caused by different layout plans and the heights of windproof and dust suppression network.In addition,a comparative analysis was carried out to produce an economical and reasonable layout plan.The research results may provide an reference for similar engineering designs.关键词
