Abstract
In response to the problem of the motion characteristics of diesel droplets hitting high-temperature walls,this article considers the evaporation heat transfer effect of droplets and uses the VOF method to track the gas-liquid interface,simulating the non steady state motion process of droplets hitting walls.Three motion modes of liquid droplets on high-temperature walls are observed,and the influencing factors such as initial velocity and diameter of the droplets are studied.The results indicate that as the initial velocity of the droplet increases,the motion states of rebound,retraction fragmentation,and spreading fragmentation occur sequentially.Reducing the droplet diameter is beneficial for rebound,while increasing the droplet diameter is beneficial for fragmentation,but larger droplets will re aggregate after fragmentation.Finally,the Weber number is used as the criterion to determine the critical conditions for the rebound and fragmentation of micrometer sized diesel droplets hitting high-temperature walls.关键词
