Abstract
Condenser is one of the key components in power generation unit,and the layout of the internal condensation tube bundle has a significant impact on its operation performance.A steady-state single-phase numerical calculation model of the flow and heat transfer on the shell side of the condenser was established.Based on the principles of modification,the tube layout of condenser was redesigned,and numerical simulations were conducted to compare the thermal performance of condenser in a thermal power plant before and after the modification.The numerical results indicated that the overall flow on the shell side of the modified condenser exhibited a centripetal distribution,and there were no significant vortices or air accumulation in the tube bundle area.Thus,it was verified that the modification measures could effectively enhance the flow characteristics on the shell side of the condenser,improve the overall heat transfer performance and reduce the back pressure.Meanwhile,the principles of modification were validated.The research findings can provide reference for design or retrofit of tube layout schemes of condensers in thermal power plants.关键词
