Abstract
Objective:To analyze the risk factors of recurrent lumbar disc herniation(LDH)after percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy(PETD).Methods:Data of 80 patients with LDH treated in Luodian County People's Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were treated with PETD.Patients with postoperative recurrence of LDH were included in the recurrence group, and patients with postoperative recurrence of LDH were included in the non-recurrence group, with 40 cases each. The correlation factors of recurrent LDH after PETD treatment were analyzed, and the risk factors were analyzed by Logistic regression model. Results:Univariate analysis showed that gender, age, prominence, prominence segment, drinking history, smoking history, combined hypertension and combined diabetes were not correlated with recurrent LDH after PETD treatment(P>0.05).The recurrence of LDH after PETD in LDH patients was correlated with the course of disease, protrusion type, removal of nucleus pulposum, fiber destruction and postoperative intervertebral motion(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors for recurrent LDH after PETD were≥3 years of disease duration, protruding LDH,incomplete removal of the core pulpoid,fibre-destructive tear>5 mm,and postoperative intervertebral motion≥10°(P<0.05).Conclusion:Duration≥3 years, protruding LDH,incomplete removal of nucleus pulpoideus,fibre-destructive tear>5 mm,and postoperative intervertebral motion≥10° are risk factors for recurrent LDH after PETD treatment.Clinical attention should be paid to the changes of these indicators to avoid the risk of LDH recurrence as far as possible.关键词
