摘要

Abstract

A compound flame retardant of arginine surface modified ammonium polyphosphate was prepared by ion exchange method,and it was incorporated into polyethylene to prepare polyethylene composites.The effects of different compound flame retardant dosages on the flame retardancy,thermal performance,and mechanical properties of polyethylene composites were studied.The results show that the addition of arginine ammonium polyphosphate,a compound flame retardant,effectively improves the flame retardancy of polyethylene composites,improves its crystallinity and thermal stability,and at the same time,effectively improves the notch impact strength of the composites while improving the tensile strength and bending strength.When the mass fraction of the compound flame retardant is 20%,the flame retardancy,mechanical properties,and thermal properties of the polyethylene composites reach the optimal level.At this dosage,the limited oxygen index and oxidation induction time of the polyethylene composites are increased by 31.42%and 9.33%compared to pure polyethylene,respectively.
