不同秋眠级苜蓿品种在天山北坡农业区的生长与生产性能比较
Comparative analysis of growth and production performance among alfalfa varieties with different fall dormancy classes in the agricultural region of northern Tianshan Mountains

Abstract
This study aimed to elucidate the growth characteristics and production performance of different fall dormancy(FD)classes of alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)in the agricultural region of the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang,China.Eight varieties spanning FD classes three through six were selected and encompassed a comparative investigation for their overwintering survival rate,photosynthetic traits,productivity and nutritional qualities.The results showed that FD class 6 varieties WL440HQ and Longwei 6010 exhibited earlier green-up periods.Across all FD classes,alfalfa varieties maintained overwintering rates above 95%,with class six varieties demonstrating significant advantages(P<0.05)in total fresh forage yield,chlorophyll content,and photosynthetic rate.In terms of crude protein content,the FD class three variety WL319HQ outperformed others.Moreover,the FD class four varieties Xinmu No.4 and Drip Irrigation Star had lower contents of neutral detergent fiber(NDF)and acid detergent fiber(ADF),thus presenting higher relative feed value.A highly significant positive correlation was found between alfalfa's FD class and plant height,fresh forage yield,dry matter yield,photosynthetic rate,and NDF content(P<0.01).Additionally,there was a significant positive relationship(P<0.05)between FD and regrowth rate as well as water use efficiency.The study indicates that FD class six alfalfa varieties are well-suited for cultivation in the agricultural region of the northern Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang.关键词
