Transpathology-practice of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in cancer phenotyping
摘要
Abstract
During the past several decades,numerous studies have provided insights into the biological characteristics of cancer cells,and identified various hallmarks of cancer during the tumorigenic processes.However,it remains challenging to image these distinctive traits of cancer to facilitate patient management in clinical settings.The rapid development of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging has provided opportunities to investigate the in vivo biological characteristics of cancer.This article reviews the current status of nuclear medi-cine and molecular imaging on characterizing the hallmarks of cancer,and discusses the future directions of nuclear medicine and molecu-lar imaging strategies to promote cancer phenotyping in vivo.关键词
