Abstract

In order to select early maturing peach varieties in Tianjin,using Zhongnongjinhui,Zhongtaohongyu,Shuangxihong,Jingyu and Zhongyou No.4 as materials,the new variety JH202 and the local early variety Zaoyan as controls.The plant morphological traits,phenological period,fruit external morphological traits and important internal quality traits were measured and compared.The results showed that,Zhongyou No.4 was the earliest mature plant in open field and Shuangxihong had the longest fruit development period.The maturity period of all varieties met the expected introduction target.In terms of fruit appearance quality,Zhongtaohongyu,Shuangxihong and JH202(CK1)had consistent performance,the two parts of fruit were symmetrical,the cover color was uniform.The average fruit weight,soluble solid content,solid acid ratio and edible rate of JH202(CK1)were significantly higher than those of other varieties and the taste was sweet and juicy.In addition,it had a strong aroma.Zhongtaohongyu had higher hardness,larger fruit size,higher soluble solid value and appropriate solid acid ratio.Jingyu and Shuangxihong were two nectarines,with sweet and sour taste af-ter full ripening.In conclsion,JH202(CK1)and Zhongtaohongyu have suitable phenological period and good fruit quality,which are suitable for local promotion and production of high-grade fruit.Shuangxihong and Jingyu have good taste,but slightly poor hardness are not suitable for long-distance transportation.They can be used as excellent varieties for local picking gardens.
