Preliminary Exploration of the Working Mechanism of ISO and Enlightenment for the Standardization of Road Traffic Management

Abstract
ISO develops international standards globally through technical committees and subcommittees,promoting high-quality development in various fields.China faces the challenge of a weak international foundation in the standardization of traffic management and needs to enhance its capability to participate in international standardization.This paper delves into the working mechanism of the International Organization for Standardization(ISO)and offers suggestions for the standardization of road traffic management.analyzes ISO's organizational structure,responsibilities,the establishment process of technical committees,and the standards development procedures,and proposes the suggestions such as the establishment of an open and inclusive participation mechanism,an open and dynamic standards development mechanism,and a mechanism for expert participation and responsibility division to improve the efficiency and quality of the standardization work for traffic management.关键词
