Research Progress on Mechanism of Condensed Tannins Reducing Methane Emission in Ruminants
摘要
Abstract
Ruminants produce methane in the rumen and through belching,which not only has negative effects on the environment but also reduces the utilization of total energy intake.Adding condensed tannins to diet can reduce methane emissions,increase protein digestibility,reduce parasites infections and prevent ruminal tympany.Therefore,it have good feeding prospects in ruminants.This paper mainly reviews the mechanism of condensed tannins reduce methane emissions from ruminants by influencing feed intake,rumen fermentation products,rumen microorganisms and the enzymes,intend to provide reference for further research and application of condensed tannins in ruminant nutrition.关键词
