Process and Reality of the Construction of China-Russia New Land Road Food Corridor

Abstract
Since the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis in 2022,global food security has been severely challenged,and the international food supply situation has encountered unprecedented changes.For Russia,its year-on-year increase in food production capacity has become an important tool to enhance its regional development capacity.At the same time,in the West's high-pressure sanctions background,the"food economy"has also become an important means of Russia to break out of the trap.For China,"moderate imports"and"import diversification"have become an important element to ensure food security in China.The New Russia-China Land Food Corridor is of great practical and strategic significance,expanding pragmatic cooperation between China and Russia and enhancing China's ability to diversify its grain imports.However,it is undeniable that its construction is also faced with a series of practical difficulties,such as the transit hub needs to be further improved,affected by the"butterfly effect"of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine,as well as the complex geopolitical environment in the region.At the same time,with the"China-Russia new land food corridor"project in-depth promotion,for China's northeastern region through the"food economy"to create a new frontier of opening up to the outside world has created a historic opportunity.Therefore,the Northeast region should construct a new development pattern of regional grain by connecting hubs,attracting Russian enterprises and optimizing grain varieties and planting structures.关键词
