Synthesis of CoxSey/Co3S4 nanocomposites and their performance in electrochemical energy storage

Abstract
Chalcogenides have advantages of high capacitance performance and long cycle life as electrode materials for supercapacitors.CoxSey/Co3S4 nanocomposites were prepared and their electrochemical properties were systematically studied.As the electrode material of supercapacitors,the area specific capacitance of CoxSey/Co3S4 nanocomposites can reach 7 161.4 mF·cm-2 at a current density of 1 mF·cm-2.The assembled CoxSey/Co3S4/NF//AC asymmetric supercapacitor has an area specific capacitance of 1 989.1 mA·cm-2 at a current density of 2.5 mA·cm-2.The assembled CoxSey/Co3S4/NF//AC solid-state electrolytic supercapacitors have an area specific capacitance of 1 746.2 mF·cm-2 at a current density of 15 mA·cm-2.Moreover,the series device exhibits typical voltage amplification characteristics and the parallel device exhibits typical capacitive amplification characteristics.In conclusion,this study demonstrates the application potential of CoxSey/Co3S4 nanocomposites in electrochemical energy storage,and provides guidance to construct new electrochemical energy storage materials.关键词
