《金匮要略》毒性中药运用原则探微
A Preliminary Exploration of the Principles of Toxic Chinese Medicinals Application in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber

Abstract
In Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,Zhang Zhongjing outlines the principles for the use of toxic Chinese medicinals based on two main considerations:the disease and the toxic properties of the Chinese medicinals.First,patient considerations,such as the severity and urgency of the disease,the patient's constitution,and the reaction to medication,are involved.Severe or acute conditions often re-quire potent toxic drugs for rapid alleviation,while milder or slower-progressing diseases may be treated with less toxic drugs.Robust pa-tients tolerate stronger dosages and more drastic therapies,while weaker individuals require milder treatments with careful observation of their reactions.Treatment should cease once the desired effect is achieved,avoiding excessive dosing.Second,based on the characteris-tics of toxic drugs,appropriate processing techniques,suitable compatibility methods,proper decoction methods,and reasonable dosage forms and administration methods should be selected.Common processing techniques include fire processing,water processing,and frost processing.Compatibility methods include restraining relationship,suppressing relationship,antagonizing relationship,assisting relation-ship,reinforcing relationship,etc.Decoction methods include pre-decoction,prolonged decoction,honey preparation,re-decoction,and separate decoction.Dosage forms include decoctions,pills,and powders,etc.These methods are employed in combination to enhance ef-ficacy while minimizing adverse reactions.关键词
