摘要

Abstract

In order to solve the difficulty of chip breaking caused by long chip forming in the drilling process of solid carbide bit,a new five-axis CNC grinding algorithm for solid carbide chip breaking bit is proposed.The parametric mathematical model of spiral groove and end cutting edge line of chip breaking bit is established,and the pose of grinding wheel during machining are analyzed.By establishing the coordinate system and defining the key parameters,the position and direction of the grinding wheel in the coordinate system of the rod were precisely solved by combining the geometric constraints of the grinding process.VERICUT simulation software is used to carry out machining simulation experiments.The experimental results show that the chip breaking bit with the new machining method can control its half angle error to 0.3°,and the parameters such as spiral Angle also meet the expected accuracy requirements,thus confirming its practicability and accuracy.It provides theoretical support for the machining of chip breaking bits.
