Abstract

For the problem that the elderly people with self-care ability living alone have difficulty in getting into and out of bed,an elderly care bed with one-touch back lifting and leg bending function is designed.A linkage structure of a double parallelogram mechanism is designed,and the relationship between the angular velocity and angular acceleration of the backrest mechanism and the motion of the electric actuator is derived by applying the analytical method and Euler's formula,and the velocity trend of the backrest mechanism is plotted by using MATLAB when the electric actuator moves at a uniform speed of 8 mm/s,i.e.,the angular velocity and angular acceleration of the backrest lifting angle change very smoothly and steadily from 0°to 54°.From 54°to 73°limit position,the change is slightly larger,but the motion curve is smooth without obvious sudden change and break point,indicating that there is no large impact on the elderly care bed.The motion is verified in Adams,and there is no abrupt change in start-up,stable operation and stop.And the safety stability analysis is conducted in ANSYS,and it is concluded that its Q235 structure under the thickness structure strength is reasonable.Finally the physical prototype test structure to verify the elderly bed can be completely easy to lie and stand switch,laying the foundation for further development in the future.
