摘要
Abstract
Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the digestive system in China,with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma being the most prevalent pathological type.Early esophageal cancer refers to tumors occurring in the mucosal layer of the esophagus without invading the submucosal tissue.Generally,early esophageal cancer is categorized into two subtypes:mucosal cancer and submucosal cancer.Due to the subtle symptoms of early esophageal cancer,diagnosis and staging often rely on methods such as endoscopy,tissue biopsy,and imaging in clinical practice.Early detection and treatment of early esophageal cancer are crucial for the prognosis of patients.This article reviews the latest developments in the diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis of early esophageal cancer in 2023,focusing on summarizing and interpreting advancements in this field.关键词
