Abstract

Perovskite materials have attracted significant attentions as the absorbing layers in solar devices due to their outstanding performances.This study addresses the issue of residual PbI2 in perovskite absorber layers prepared via solution methods.A three-step strategy is presented involving cleaning-passivation-annealing.Firstly,the perovskite films were cleaned with a co-solvent with the volume ratio of n-butanol to cyclohexane of 1∶4.Subsequently,the surface was passivated with a volume ratio of tert-amyl alcohol to cyclohexane solution containing phenethylammonium iodide with trifluoromethoxy groups(CF3O-PEAI)of 1∶4.Finally,annealing was performed.The strategy not only effectively removes residual lead iodide from the perovskite film surface but also improves grain density and increases the grain area,thereby optimizes the overall surface crystal morphology.The power conversion efficiency of the devices increases from 17.93%to 20.59%with a relative increase of 14.80%.The results show that this strategy effectively remove the residual PbI2 and repair the cleaned surface,and finally improve the performance of the device.
