Structural design and finite element analysis of Ni-Ti alloy biliary stent

Abstract
Abaqus finite element analysis software was used to simulate and calculate the biliary stents with different structures.Three different types of'sine wave'support ring structures were designed,and the influence of different support ring structures on the radial support force of the support was analyzed.The connecting structure was optimized,and an'oblique rod'type connecting structure was proposed to explore the relationship and influence mechanism between the different structures of the connecting bar and the flexibility.According to the results of finite element analysis,the stent with superior radial support force is laser cut and tested experimentally.The results show that the'sine wave'structure with unequal height shows better radial support force of 5.88 N;the'oblique rod'connecting structure shows the best flexibility and significantly reduces the stress concentration,and the maximum stress value is reduced from 863.87 MPa to 589.93 MPa compared with the traditional'straight rod'connecting stent.The results of plate compression experiment show that the radial support force of the support with unequal height'sine wave'support ring structure is 5.78 N,which is approximately equal to the simulation results,indicating the reliability of the simulation results.关键词
