Effect of aging treatment on mechanical properties of bamboo-liked crystalline CuAlMn alloy wires

Abstract
The effect of bamboo-liked crystalline CuAlMn alloy wires with 0.5 mm diameter aged at 300℃ for different times on the Vickers hardness,microstructure and cyclic tensile properties were investigated.As the aging time increases,the β-phase structure decreases,and 6-layer monoclinic structure bainite coherent with austenite was formed at the same time,and forming a network structure.Bainite volume fraction increases from 0 to 90%.The precipitation of strengthening phase significantly increases the Vickers hardness of the alloy wire from 223 to 381.In the process of cyclic loading and unloading,as the aging time increases,the strength of alloy wire increased and the superelastic properties gradually decreased.Under the cyclic stretching with continuous accumulation of 2.0%strain,the sample aged at 300℃for 30 min could fully recover after 4 cycles to 8.0%strain,the residual strain is 0,the superelastic strain reached 7.3%exhibited great superelastic properties,and the phase transition critical stress reached 353 MPa.关键词
