20世纪30年代前期英国政府对苏区内部情状的观察
British Government's Observation of the Internal Situation in the Soviet Area in the Early 1930s
摘要
Abstract
In the early 1930s,the Soviet movement flourished in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. This attracted the attention of the British government, which had many treaty rights in the region. In order to safeguard the treaty rights and interests of this region in China, the British gov-ernment was eager to investigate the nature, influence, and development trend of the Soviet move-ment,and showed a strong willingness to observe the internal situation of the Soviet area. The British government's observation of the internal situation of the Soviet area mainly focused on the governance of the CPC in the Soviet area, the Red Army and the Soviet government and their leaders,as well as the assistance and influence of the Comintern and the Soviet Union on the Soviet area. This kind of obser-vation was basically an indirect"bystander"from a distance, rather than a close"witness",which was inevitably constrained by ideological and other factors. Therefore, there was a certain deviation between the internal situation of the Soviet area presented and historical facts. The British government's observation of the internal situation of the Soviet area did present a"different"face of the Soviet are-a from the perspective of"others",and also to some extent showed a different image of the Soviet area from the existing external perception at that time.关键词
