Abstract
The Maojialing Riot was an major armed escape from the Shangrao Concentration Camp.The Shangrao Concentration Camp was a political prison under the banner of"training class",in which many soldiers of the New Fourth Army captured after the South Anhui Incident were impris-oned and suffered inhumane treatment.In order to avoid persecution and seek freedom,many revo-lutionaries planned a number of escapes and riots.Among them,the Maojialing Riot was particularly noteworthy,one of the typical large-scale,organized and well-planned riots led by captured sol-diers of the New Fourth Army.The sudden attack by the Japanese army on the Zhejiang and Jiangxi in 1942 provided an opportunity for riots,and the rioters quickly established party organizations.In the Maojialing Riot,the party organization unified the thoughts of the detained personnel,refined the task allocation of the rioters,provided material preparation and psychological construction,planned the escape route,and cleverly lowered the guard's vigilance.In the end,the riot was suc-cessful and the personnel escaped smoothly.This incident not only brought hope and courage to oth-er detainees in the Shangrao Concentration Camp,but also revealed the cruel truth of the camp,demonstrating the firm revolutionary will and indomitable spirit of soldiers of the New Fourth Army.关键词
