A Review of RIS-Aided Millimeter-Wave Massive MIMO Systems
摘要
Abstract
Reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS),as a potential key technology for 6G,have garnered significant attention in the academic community.RIS can intelligently reconstruct the wireless channel environment in a low-cost manner,effectively mitigating challenges such as high path loss,high cost,and high power consumption faced by millimeter-wave massive MIMO systems.Therefore,integrating RIS with millimeter-wave massive MIMO systems is expected to achieve high data rates and low power consumption in communications.Considering the latest developments both domestically and internationally,this paper discusses the fundamental concepts of RIS-aided millimeter-wave massive MIMO systems,analyzes the challenges in key areas such as joint beamforming and RIS deployment strategies,and explores future research directions.关键词
