Abstract
As the largest multi-purpose dam project ever built in China,the Three Gorges Project generates comprehensive benefits of flood control,power generation,navigation and water supply.It is a meritorious undertaking that benefits people today and future generations.It has important strategic significance for promoting high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,enhancement of national strength,better serving and supporting Chinese path to modernization,and helping the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It has become an important symbol of China's development since the reform and opening up,a model of the superiority of China's socialist system to focus on major issues,a model of Chinese people's wisdom and creativity,and growing prosperity.The Three Gorges Project has made historical contributions to the development of economy and society.For a new era and a new journey,we should earnestly undertake the historical mission,develop new quality productivity according to local conditions,lead industries with scientific and technological innovation,focus on promoting modern industrial system.Guided by economic restructuring,deepen reform in a comprehensive way and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.Make full use of the cooperation platform established by the national counterpart support for the Three Gorges Reservoir area,coordinate and balance regional development.Give full play to the demonstration leading role of the Three Gorges project in comprehensive water control in our country,and solidly promote common prosperity.Adhere to the principle of innovation,constantly improve the ability of innovation and development,and reflect the responsibility and contribution of the Three Gorges in the new journey of Chinese-style modernization.关键词
