Abstract
The composite insulators of extra-high/ultra-high voltage transmission lines operate in a harsh environment,and they are subjected to multi-field coupling of electricity,heat and force during operation.In addition,the thermal conductivity of the epoxy resin material of the composite insulator core is low,which makes it difficult for the local accumulated heat to dissipate quickly,and it is easy to cause abnormal heat of the composite insulator,resulting in premature insulation failure.Therefore,the prepa-ration of epoxy resin with high thermal conductivity is of great significance to improve the reliability of composite insulators and prolong their service life.In this paper,micro and nano BN particles were se-lected as thermal conductive fillers to prepare epoxy resin composites with different micro and nano doping ratios.The electrical and thermal properties of epoxy resin composites with different micro and nano do-ping ratios were tested,and the surface discharge and electrical trace failure characteristics of the com-posites were obtained.The mechanism of micro and nano boron nitride particle doping on the improve-ment of electrical and thermal properties of epoxy resin was analyzed.The results show that the doping of micro-nano boron nitride particles can effectively improve the thermal conductivity of epoxy resin com-posites,improve the discharge initiation and flashover voltage along the surface,and enhance the surface tracking resistance of epoxy resin composites.关键词
