Abstract

The integration of 5G and time-sensitive networking(TSN)has gained significant attention due to its ability to ensure deterministic low-latency transmission,meeting the communication needs of time-sensitive services.To evaluate the feasibility of using a TSN-based 5G fronthaul network to carry distributed power services,this paper proposes a maximum delay analysis method based on network calculus.Firstly,an arrival curve tailored to the quality of service and transmission characteristics of distributed power services was established.Secondly,a service curve for critical distributed power service flows was created based on the forwarding principles of the TSN flow scheduling protocol IEEE 802.1Qcr.Finally,the maximum delay of distributed power services carried by the 5G fronthaul network was analyzed using network calculus theory.Experimental results show that the TSN-based 5G fronthaul network can provide deterministic low-latency transmission services for distributed power services,offering theoretical support for the 5G communication network to carry distributed power services.
