摘要

Abstract

In order to solve the problems of small weld foot size,difficulty in controlling porosity,and lack of fusion in the new type of TA3 titanium structure laser fillet weld joint for ships,a handheld laser swing welding mode for TA3 titanium structure fillet weld joint was proposed.The key process parameters such as swing characteristics,laser power,welding speed,and defocus amount were systematically optimized,and the surface gloss,microstructure,and mechanical properties of the fillet weld joint were analyzed.The results show that the surface of the weld and the heat affected zone appear silver white,and there are no surface defects in the dye penetration test;The macroscopic cross-sectional morphology shows good formation,complete penetration of the weld seam,and no welding defects were found,which can achieve a weld foot size of 3mm or more.The metallographic structure and grain size of each area of the joint are good,and there are no defects such as microcracks,porosity and inclusions.The T-shaped bending performance and tensile shear strength of the cross joint of the handheld laser filled wire corner seam welding component are comparable to those of TIG/MIG welding,with slightly better fatigue performance and good mechanical properties.By studying the welding process of handheld laser wire filling welding on the corner seam of TA3 titanium plate,a new solution is provided for the efficient production and quality assurance of new marine TA3 titanium structures.
