Influence of melt-blown process parameters on the mechanical properties of polylactic acid nonwovens

Abstract
In order to improve the mechanical properties of polylactic acid melt-blown nonwovens,the effects of process parameters such as the left and right side blowing temperature,the suction speed under the net and the receiving distance on the transverse and longitudinal breaking strength and elongation at break were studied based on Box-Behnken response surface design experiment.The results showed that the transverse and longitu-dinal breaking strength of the material decreased with the increase of the receiving distance.When the suction speed was low,the transverse and longitudinal breaking strength of the material increased with the increase of the left and right side blowing temperature,and the transverse breaking strength of the material decreased with the increase of the receiving distance.The elongation at break of the material decreased with the increase of re-ceiving distance.When the suction wind speed decreased,the transverse and longitudinal fracture elongation of the material increased with the increase of the left and right side blowing temperature,and the longitudinal breaking elongation of the material decreased with the increase of the receiving distance.The receiving distance had the greatest influence on the mechanical properties of the material.The optimum PLA preparation process was as follows:the left and right side blowing temperature was 259.36℃,the suction speed under the net was 345.77 r·min-1,and the receiving distance was 170.55 cm.关键词
