摘要

Abstract

To obtain the angle position of servo motor BiSS protocol encoder and to read and write register data quickly and accurately,a BISS protocol decoding method was proposed based on field programmable gate array(FPGA)+QT platform.This method included an embedded FPGA module and PC upper computer software.The hardware for the FPGA embedded system was designed based on the BiSS communication protocol.The finite state machine was implemented using Verilog HDL language,and the timing verification of each FPGA module was carried out using Modelsim.The PC upper computer software was designed using the QT platform,which worked together with the FPGA module to process the encoder data and display it visually.Experimental results show that the decoding system based on FPGA and PC upper computer can accurately obtain the angle information of BiSS encoder,and can also achieve precise decoding of BiSS-B and BiSS-C protocols,and read and write the electronic nameplate information stored in the encoder,which has significant practical implications and promising application prospects in the field of servo control and servo motor maintenance.
