Research hydrodynamic performance of ducted propeller with boss cap fins
摘要
Abstract
The propeller boss cap fins(PBCF)and duct were combined to form a composite energy saving appendage to further improve the hydrodynamic performance of ducted propeller.The induced velocity surface panel method was used to predict the hydrodynamic performance of ducted propeller with boss cap fins,and its mesh-independent was verified.The energy saving effect of boss cap fins on ducted propeller was compared and analyzed.It was proved that this program had good accuracy at low and medium speed of advance.Finally,the four parameters that affected the energy saving effect of the boss cap fins were analyzed with variable parameters.According to the calculation results,the optimal boss cap fins parameters were obtained.Results show that the pitch angle of the boss cap fins has little influence on the hydrodynamic performance of the ducted paddle,the phase angle of the between fins and propeller has a certain influence on the energy saving effect,and the fins pitch ratio and fin height ratio have a greater influence on the energy saving effect,and the energy saving effect can be further improved as small as possible within a reasonable range.The research can provide a fast forecasting method for ducted propeller with boss cap fins,and can provide ideas and data support for the subsequent research and development of ducted propeller with boss cap fins.关键词
